Thuya Creek RV Resort

Thuya Creek RV Resort is a locally owned and operated RV resort and campground situated in the idyllic rural setting of Little Fort, just south of Clearwater and the famed Wells Gray Provincial Park in the North Thompson region of British Columbia. Thuya Creek RV Resort & campground is the perfect combination of rustic charm and urban comforts. The 11-acre creek-side setting provides easy access to some of the best fly fishing in BC with over 600 lakes nearby. In addition, its location is just a stone’s throw from some of the very best things to do and see in BC Canada.

Thuya Creek RV Resort

Campground backs onto crown land with access to the FSR roads for ATV’s, horse back, snowmobiles, hiking, hunting, fishing, etc

Highway 24 Fishing Highway

Just a few minutes north of the resort and you can exit onto the famous highway 24 which travels up out of the valley and into a world of breath taking lakes, trails and more. Fishing for Kokanee at beautiful Bridge lake or a stop to check out the ice caves. Keep travelling the 24 once the Hudson Bay Companies Brigade Trail into the Cariboo and link up with BC’s Gold Rush Trail.

Sun Peaks

Travel south down Highway 5 and take the exit towards Sun Peaks Canada’s second largest ski area. This beautiful village offers year round activities including skiing, hiking, mountain biking, shopping, dining and more.

Highway 24 Rainbow Trout

Wells Gray Park

Travel North up Highway 5 to Clearwater and Wells Gray provincial park. Wells Gray consists of over 540,000 hectares of wilderness in the Cariboo mountains and features some of Canadas most beautiful waterfalls including the country’s 3rd tallest Helmckyn Falls! Many falls including Helmckyn are easily accessible by vehicle and a short hike. Other opportunities in and around Wells Gray include white water rafting, paragliding and more.

Travel south and visit a number of BC wineries and vineyards including Privato, Monte Creek, Sagewood & Celista.

Looking to get in a round or two of gold on your travels then be sure to visit one of our beautiful local courses such as Chinook Cove, Lacarya, Sun Peaks and many more impressive courses available in the Kamloops area.

Thuya Creek RV Resort is conveniently located near a number of interior towns each with there own events or activities to check out. Many towns are within a hour or so drive away.

Little Fort

Just 12 minutes north of Thuya Creek is Little Fort where you can fuel up, take a ride across the North Thompson River on one of BC’s free ferries, visit the Fly Shop or grab a bite at the High 5 Diner.

Barriere

Barriere is 25 minutes south of Thuya Creek and hosts the amazing Fall Fair & Rodeo in addition to a number of other local events. Barriere also provides a number of amenities such as medical center, grocery, fuel, bank, garage, feed store and more.

Kamloops

The tournament capital of Canada located only 1 hour 8 minutes south where the North and South Thompson rivers meet. Kamloops acts as a hub and hosts wide range of services, events and activities such as the BC Wildlife Park and much more!

Clearwater

Only 27 minutes north lies Clearwater the gateway to Wells Gray! In addition to the park Clearwater offers and emergency room, medical clinic, grocery, garage, fuel, banking and more. Other features such as the picturesque Dutch lake located in the heart of town offer a chance to take a dip and enjoy the small local beach while visiting town.

Blue River

Travel a bit further north 1 hour 37 minutes along the Yellowhead (Hwy 5) to Blue River an interior temperate rainforest and experience the beautiful Myrtle lake or take in a Wildlife Safari.
